About the artist

Hello! I’m Sarah, a Birmingham-based artist and illustrator, returning to Art for the Earth for my fourth year. My work is inspired by light, atmosphere and the natural world, often exploring the beauty, emotion and sense of wonder found in our changing landscapes.

About the art

There has always been something beautiful about watching a storm gather. But what happens when the weather we know begins to feel unfamiliar? Emerging from darkness, Unseasonable reflects on our shifting relationship with the climate - its beauty, its power and uncertainty, and our small place beneath it.
