About the artist
I've always had a passion for art, and when I'm away from my day job at PwC, I try my best to find the time to create new pieces of work. A few years ago I studied Illustration at Central Saint Martins, which re-sparked my appreciation of how the subtlety of a message within a piece of artwork can be an incredibly powerful tool to ignite emotion and get people thinking. This drove my inspiration to create this piece for Art For The Earth and WWF.

About the art
The inspiration behind this piece is to highlight the juxtaposition of nature and urbanisation. The development and growth of major cities, within inherently finite space, can create a conflict in that harmony - leading to an on-going battle for land and sky. Green against concrete. Can you see both sides to the debate?
