About the artist

Walks on Exmouth Beach are a huge part of my day to day. Relocating down to Devon 5 years ago has made me increasingly passionate about protecting and celebrating our UK coastlines. Participating in Art for the Earth during One Firm, One Day this year gave me the opportunity to also litter pick along my local beach at the same time as collecting the shells to showcase our natural environment through art.

About the art

Showcasing the vivid colours that can often go hidden inside mussel shells I've built a pattern that celebrates nature using natural materials already available to us. The natural variation in shells has been embraced to make this piece of art unique.
