About the artist

I grew up in Salisbury, surrounded by the sheep-farming hills of Wiltshire and the magical scenery of the New Forest and StoneHenge but now live in Cambridge, surrounded by the endless flat landscapes of the fens. I paint in acrylics on canvas - but also walls, ceilings, cupboards, mirrors.... I paint to make the world a more colourful magical place.

About the art

When you want to find a way forward let me paint you a sunlit path across the ocean. My painting seeks to capture the bright colours of the ocean and the sky, their vast expanse and how they put all human difficulties into perspective and inspire hope that there is always a way forward if you just open your eyes to look wider than our narrow day-to-day perspectives.
