About the art
My painting aims to show the enormous colourful biodiversity of nature, from amoeba and dinosaurs through to early man, to Big Ben about to strike midnight. On the clock tower is the poem I wrote which was the initial inspiration for the painting. You then see the ways in which humanity has shifted evolution, leaving the threat of the world becoming a desert wasteland. In the desert you see a glass slipper on a rock, with a tiny WWF logo on the front of the slipper, to symbolise there is still a chance of a happily ever after.
