About the artist
I'm Louisa from London. I loved painting, arts and crafts as a child & teenager, but sadly didn't keep it up. I picked up a paintbrush again in 2020 and had the space and time to fall in love with painting again! I like painting landscapes, using acrylic paint. I enjoy painting on different surfaces but use mainly canvas or watercolour paper.

About the art
Inspired by a recent summer trip to Snowdonia, this painting tries to capture the incredible beauty of the North Wales landscape. Towards the end of our holiday, wildfires began to break out nearby, a sad reminder of just how fragile our natural world is and why the work of WWF to protect our planet and its precious habitats is so important.
