About the artist

I'm from London and loved painting as a child & teenager, but sadly didn't keep it up when I went to university. I picked up a paintbrush again in the pandemic lockdowns and had the space and time to fall in love with painting again! I like painting landscapes, using acrylic paint. I enjoy painting on different surfaces but use mainly canvas or watercolour paper.

About the art

This painting is inspired by a recent trip to the Canadian Rockies. I was in awe of the breathtaking scenery: the majestic trees, towering mountains, and serene landscapes. However, our planned route was altered due to the recent wildfires in Jasper. Sadly, like many places around the world, the Canadian landscape, its glaciers, and wildlife are being directly impacted by climate change. We need to act now to protect these natural wonders for future generations!
