About the artist

I have long used art (creating, exploring, enjoying) as an escape, to ground and re-centre myself and funnel my energy into something I or others can enjoy after the fact. My art usually depicts life, or specific lived feelings, interpreted through both abstract and still life representations. My usual mediums include sculpture and oil paint, ink and water, pencil, watercolour and acrylic. More recently I have enjoyed sharing a love of creating things with my five- and one-year old children, who remind me that parenting is an ever-evolving work of art in itself.
