About the artist
“I always loved oil painting since I was a child, and this hobby stuck as a teenager . When I studied graphic design at University, I found my self at a cross-roads deciding between graphic art (commercial graphic/illustrative design) and acrylic/oil painting. As a solution, I combined both worlds and formalised this as a new business. Now I combine prints and paintings (this piece is an example) and sell my artwork all over the World!”

About the art
A piece displaying the natural beauty of the 'full cycle' of nature. From the energy the sun provides, to the basic gifts nature gives back, in this case symbolised by fruit. When you look closer at the image you can see the fruit and tree barks in shades of neon pink and electric blue colours, conveying the pollution impacting our world, creating unnatural colours. This painting is in my usual expressionist style, with bright joyful colours juxtaposed with a difficult subject matter. The process was truly rewarding, using lots of texture, layers and colour to emphasise the sun bleeding through the landscape, with shards of light across the trees and foliage.
