Desilvart is a multi-disciplinary creative based in London. Desilvart started painting during lockdown of 2020, and has cultivated a distinctive abstract style of art with poppy colours against a black background. About the art

Phytomining is an abstract interpretation of the scientific process, named phytomining, in which certain species of plants have adapted to uptake heavy metal ions from the ground. This process has a dual benefit of improving soil health by removing toxic metals from contaminated land, for instance near disused mines, as well as scientists developing methods to extract the metal as ore from the plants. Phytomining is a mixed-media piece on a 24 x 30 inch canvas.
