About the artist
“I am a British contemporary botanical artist, I paint intuitively incorporating abstract elements in both watercolour and acrylic. Growing up on the island of Jersey I always appreciated the soothing elements of living near the water, & though now in Berkshire I am fortunate enough to live near the canal and draw a lot of energy & peace from being near the water - as well as from the nature around it which I have always had a deep fascination for, it is very grounding to be amongst, inspiring with all its colours, patterns, shapes & seasons.”

About the art
Industry adorns the crown showing humanity's aggressive progression to dominate, whilst the botanicals hold it back from bleeding into nature as much as it can, though a losing battle, reminding humanity of the true purpose of the earth; grow bloom thrive - together. The lower part of the rich nature is leading towards the light of Gaia, back to nature, to enlightenment & peace.
