About the artist
I grew up in the countryside of South West of France where my love for nature and animals grew tremendously and has never left me since moving to the city in London. I have always had a passion for art and nature since a very young age, I usually love creating picturesque landscapes, tropical birds, flowers and on few occasions. This year I have created I decided to get involved in this project as I wanted to participate in this great cause and hope to be able to raise funds towards WWF.
About the art
I painted ‘Head in the clouds’ to capture the essence of nature through a depiction of an expansive sky. The composition offers viewers a unique perspective on the skies above. The canvas is adorned with an array of clouds that stretches across the vast expanse of the painting. The inspiration behind ‘Head in the clouds’ stems from a deep reverence for nature and a desire to encapsulate its awe-inspiring beauty by focusing on the sky and clouds, I aimed to convey a sense of boundless freedom, tranquillity and harmony that can be found in the natural world. I painted this artwork in the hope to capture the essence of daydreaming and the beauty of uninhibited imagination. The title speaks to the idea of allowing the viewer to get lost in the vastness of the sky, where the mind can wander freely, to embrace their own flights of fancy and explore boundless horizons of the beauty of nature that surrounds them
