About the artist

“I grew up in the countryside of South West of France where my love for nature and animals grew tremendously and has never left me since moving to the city in London. I have always had a passion for art and nature since a very young age, I usually love creating picturesque landscapes, tropical birds, flowers and on few occasions I create abstracts ink work. I decided to get involved in this project as I wanted to participate in this great cause and hope to be able to raise funds towards WWF.”

About the art

Plastic pollution stems from a lack of recycling and single-use plastic being discarded carelessly, this has become a huge problem for our planet and everything living inside it.I have created this painting to reflect this in the hope that we can see the damage we are causing to nature. Birds normally build their nests from grass, flowers, and small wood chips, feathers, twigs etc but because of bad waste management, it has resulted in a wide range of animals and ecosystems being affected. I have created this artwork in the hope to show the damage that it has caused to this bird's nest.
